I am a property/real estate reporter at The Business Times. I graduated with honours (distinction) in communications from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI) at Nanyang Technological University.

Having done a 7-month stint at The Business Times in 2023, I found joy in the rigour of business journalism and believe that it is a quintessential part of the news industry, given that our daily lives are shaped around policies and economic decisions that influence everything from employment to consumer behaviour.

 

As a Korean culture junkie, I self-study the language in my free time, as well as catch up on the latest dramas and music releases. My other hobbies include yoga, cafe hopping (an activity I picked up while holidaying in Korea and Japan) and reading. Some of my favourite books include Jung Chang's Big Sister, Little Sister and Red Sister, Lee Min Ji's Pachinko and Hwang Bo Reum's Welcome to the Hyunamdong Bookshop.
