About

I am a communications undergraduate at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI) at Nanyang Technological University.

I am interested in the journalism field because I love listening to and telling others' stories. I believe that the news is an influential platform to share stories that matter to other people, and eventually inspire them to incite a change.

My love for storytelling and connecting with people led me to pursue opportunities like joining a student-led independent news writing club, Soapbox.sg and doing a journalism internship with The Straits Times. 

I am looking for internship opportunities with news organisations to further my understanding of the various roles and desks in the newsroom, and to explore various types of storytelling.

During my free time, I enjoy watching k-dramas and anime. My love for the Chinese culture also spurred me to learn the Dizi. I am also a huge Star Wars and Harry Potter fan (fellow Hufflepuff), and I would jump at any chance to sit through a movie marathon.
